JALT Business Communication Journal
The JALT Business Communication Journal, published by the Business Communication Special Interest Group (SIG), is a scholarly journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in the dynamic and multifaceted fields of business communication and professional education. The journal covers a broad range of topics, including business and technical communication, information systems, management communication, and organizational and corporate communication, with particular emphasis on the international and intercultural aspects of these communication issues within business contexts.
In 2023, the JALT Business Communication SIG began publishing the JALT Business Communication Journal as a successor to its previous Newsletter, marking a new phase in its commitment to scholarly contributions and field advancements. Serving as an interdisciplinary platform, the journal features contributions from professors, researchers, and professionals across diverse fields such as linguistics, communications, management sciences, and international law. It also provides a venue for consultants, trainers, and managers engaged in multilingual and multicultural business environments to share insights and innovations.
Committed to bridging the gap between research, education, and industry, the JALT Business Communication Journal aims to inform and enrich management education within today’s academic institutions, fostering a deeper understanding of language and communication in business and organizational contexts.
